Peec AI alternatives and competitors: eight tools, compared on the entry plan

Peec AI is a good product with one design decision that sends people looking: three models per project, with a fourth sold as an add-on. This page lays out Peec's own pricing, then eight alternatives ranked on what their cheapest plan includes.

Credit where it is due

Where Peec AI is strongest: client dashboards and unlimited users

  • The interface. Reviewers keep mentioning it, and client-facing dashboards are where Peec is strongest.
  • Unlimited users on every plan, including Starter, which matters for an agency more than the prompt count does.
  • Daily tracking on every plan, Starter included, so a client sees this week's answers rather than last month's.
  • A wide model menu: ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI on the self-serve plans, and up to thirteen on Enterprise, where Claude, Grok and DeepSeek are listed.

Peec AI pricing: €85 a month for three models

Plans and what each includes, in the vendor's own terms. Prices are monthly.

Why people look

Three models per project: why agencies look for a Peec AI alternative

Each of these is from Peec AI’s own pricing page, read on 9 October 2026.

  1. Three models per project

Starter, Pro and Advanced each let you choose three models. A fourth costs €25, €55 or €115 a month depending on the plan, priced per model, and 'choose from all models' is an Enterprise feature, which is also where Claude is listed. The moment a client asks why they were named on Gemini and not on Copilot, you find out whether Copilot was one of your three.

  2. €85 a month to start, in euros

Starter is €85 a month on monthly billing for 50 prompts and one project. That is a fair price for an SEO team, and a lot for a founder who wants to know whether ChatGPT knows their product exists. The pricing page also bills in euros, which is a small thing until your finance team asks about it.

  3. Prompt volume is a relative score

Peec scores the demand behind each prompt from 1 to 5 using clickstream estimates. They are honest that it is a proxy, and it is the same proxy everyone in the category uses. It is still not a measurement, and a 1-to-5 scale cannot tell you whether a prompt is asked a hundred times a month or ten thousand.

  4. No API below Enterprise

API access, SSO and custom prompt setup are all on the custom-priced annual Enterprise plan. Advanced at €425 gets you a Looker Studio integration; it does not get you the data out programmatically. There is now an MCP server documented for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others, which is a real addition, but it reads the same API, so the Enterprise gate still decides who can use it.

In AIMentionTracker, every prompt runs on all six engines on every plan, so there are no models to choose.

Eight Peec AI competitors and alternatives, ranked on models included

Ranked on what the cheapest plan includes, the same criterion as our comparison page. We are first on it because ours is the only entry plan that carries every engine with nothing sold as an add-on. Each entry says how the tool differs from Peec AI and nothing else; the general write-ups are on the comparison page.

  1. The AI visibility platform to get recommended by AI. Every plan carries all six engines, so there is no model to choose and no add-on to buy. The entry plan is $9 a month for 2 prompts, which is a smaller set than Peec's 50 prompts and a tenth of the price. Every answer is stored in full with its citations, and every rate shows how many checks sit behind it.

  2. Entry plan

    $29/mo Lite, 15 prompts

Full entry on the comparison page

Cheaper to start at $29, but it makes the same trade Peec does from the other direction: four engines included, Claude, Gemini and AI Mode as add-ons. If the model cap is why you are leaving Peec, Otterly does not remove it.

  3. Entry plan

$17/mo Essentials, billed yearly; $99/mo Pro with 1,200 credits

Full entry on the comparison page

Credits instead of a model cap. Most engine queries cost a quarter of a credit and Claude two, so you choose engines, prompts and frequency yourself. Essentials is $17 a month, billed yearly, and the calculator on the pricing page shows what your mix of engines will use.

  4. Entry plan

    $295/mo Starter, 3,600 credits

Full entry on the comparison page

Eleven models on the $295 Starter, which removes the cap entirely, at three and a half times Peec's entry price. The right answer for a mid-sized team; not for a founder.

  5. Entry plan

Index from $199/mo; prompt packages from $50/mo; Ahrefs Lite ($129/mo) includes 5 tracked prompts

Full entry on the comparison page

The AI Visibility Index from $199 a month, and tracked prompts on every paid Ahrefs plan, with packages from $50. Six engines in the index, plus Claude for your own prompts. Worth it if you already pay Ahrefs; Ahrefs says the index suits brands with meaningful search demand, because it is built on its keyword database.

  6. Entry plan

$99/mo toolkit, 25 prompts; Semrush One from $199/mo with 50

Full entry on the comparison page

The same idea inside Semrush, at $99 a month for the toolkit or from $199 in a Semrush One plan. Brand Performance updates weekly; Prompt Tracking runs daily on four engines. A natural first step for a Semrush team rather than a like-for-like Peec replacement.

  7. Entry plan

Free 7-day trial, 50 prompts daily; brands then go to Enterprise, custom priced. Agencies: $399/mo per client workspace.

Full entry on the comparison page

The opposite end of the market. No published price for brands, an Enterprise sale, up to nine engines and an agent platform on top; agencies can buy client workspaces at $399 a month each. If Peec is too expensive, Profound is not the answer.

  8. Entry plan

    $250/mo Core, 125 prompts

Full entry on the comparison page

Core is $250 a month for 125 prompts on four engines, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot, with a seven-day trial; Claude, Gemini and AI Mode are on Enterprise. Owned by Sitecore since June 2026.

The honest answer

Stay with Peec AI if three models cover every client

Peec is a strong choice for an agency, and the price is fair for what it includes. The reasons to leave are the model cap and the entry price, and if neither bites you, stay.

Stay with Peec AI if

  • You run an agency and report to clients weekly.
  • You know which three models matter for each client.
  • Your clients see the dashboard every week. Peec's is better looking than ours, and we would not argue otherwise.

Look at the alternatives if

  • Three models per project leaves an engine your buyers use unwatched, and you find out when a client asks about it.
  • €85 a month is more than you want to spend to learn whether ChatGPT knows your product exists.

How to choose

Picking a Peec AI replacement: count models, not menu items

Three questions, written for the reason you are leaving.

  1. Count the models in the base plan, then find the add-on price

You are leaving Peec because three was not enough. Do not pick a tool that includes four and sells the rest per engine; that is the same limit with a different number. The question to ask each vendor is how many engines the cheapest plan includes with nothing extra to buy, and the answer should be all of them.

  2. Decide whether the dashboard was the point

If your clients see Peec's interface every week, the replacement has to be presentable. Ours is built for the person doing the work rather than the person being reported to. If client-facing polish is the thing you would miss, AthenaHQ and Otterly are the closer matches.

  3. Check what a 1-to-5 demand score becomes

Peec's prompt volume is a relative scale. Some alternatives replace it with a Google search-volume figure for the same phrasing, which is a number rather than a rank but still a proxy. Whatever you pick, ask what the figure is made from before you put it in a client deck.

How much does Peec AI cost?
Starter is €85 a month for 50 prompts and three models, Pro is €205 for 150 prompts, and Advanced is €425 for 350 prompts, all on monthly billing with a lower annual rate. Enterprise is custom and annual. An additional model beyond three is €25 to €115 a month depending on the plan. Read from peec.ai/pricing on 9 October 2026.
Is Peec AI worth it?
For an agency that reports to clients and knows which three models matter, yes. The dashboard, unlimited users on every plan and daily tracking are what it does best, from €85 a month. It is a weaker fit if you need Claude, which is listed under Enterprise, every engine on one plan, because a fourth model is an add-on, or API access below Enterprise.
Who are Peec AI's main competitors?
The eight on this page: AIMentionTracker, Otterly, Rankscale, AthenaHQ, Ahrefs Brand Radar, Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit, Profound and Scrunch. Each tracks whether AI assistants name a brand. They differ in how many engines or models the entry plan includes, how often it checks and what it costs, and they are ranked here on the models the entry plan includes.
Which Peec AI alternative tracks more than three models on the entry plan?
AIMentionTracker tracks six on every plan, including the $9 one. AthenaHQ tracks eleven on its $295 Starter. Rankscale spreads credits across seventeen or more. Otterly includes four and sells the rest as add-ons, which is the same shape as Peec, and Scrunch's $250 Core includes four.
Is there a free Peec AI alternative?
AthenaHQ's Essential plan costs nothing and includes 300 credits on five engines, and Profound's trial runs 50 prompts daily for seven days on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, on a prompt set Profound chooses for your industry. Both show you the product; neither measures the questions your own buyers ask. Our trial is seven days on a paid plan, on your prompts, with no charge until it ends.
What is the cheapest Peec AI alternative?
AIMentionTracker at $9 a month, then Rankscale's Essentials at $17 a month, billed yearly, and Otterly's $29 Lite. They are built differently: ours includes all six engines on every plan, Rankscale spreads 120 credits a month across the engines you pick, with a Claude query costing eight times a ChatGPT one, and Otterly includes four engines and sells Claude, Gemini and AI Mode as add-ons.
Peec AI or Profound?
Different buyers. Peec is self-serve from €85 a month, with unlimited users and a dashboard built for client reporting, and you choose three models per project. Profound has no self-serve plan for brands: a seven-day trial on 50 prompts Profound chooses, then an Enterprise plan with up to nine engines, agents and SSO, reached through a demo. To start today on a published price, Peec; for an enterprise team with a budget for a demo-led sale, Profound.
Does Peec AI bill in US dollars?
The pricing page prints euros. We could not find a dollar price on it. If that matters to your finance team, ask Peec before you sign up rather than assuming a conversion.
